Delmage Cottage is located rear of The Irwin River and was built for James Delmage when he first arrived in Dongara in the early 1880s. He operated a blacksmith’s shop (it was sited on the corner of Moreton Terrace and Martin Street where Dongara Hardware now stands).
It still has the yesteryear feel with solid brick walls and rustic charm and is both welcoming and comfortable with plenty of space for a family but cosy enough for couples.
Located central Dongara CBD, it is just a hop skip & jump to our very large well-appointed IGA, Awesome restaurants, and the Dongara Hotel Motel and bottle shop
